MakerPi K5 Plus 3D Printer

This printer was launched in the year 2018, specially designed basically for smooth and continuous printing and material compatibility. It supports printing at a high temperature of 280 degrees Celsius and is very easy to work with. The Maker PI K5 plus comes with a very nontechnical software that is compatible if your device has a Linux, Mac, or a Windows operating system. You can even upload your 3D design files using your mobile phones. Maker PI’s software provides a 3D modeling service that supports File formats such as PNG, JPG, Gcode, OBJ, or STL.

The printer supports materials such as PC, PA, PETG, PHA, TPU, ABS, or PLS. Maker PI K5 plus has a nozzle made up of full metal, suitable for different types of filaments. The printer has an alarm when the filament breaks the alarm rings. It also provides the facility to resume its printing, which means when the power goes off the printing stops and the printing continues when the power is turned on. It is free to open the top cover and had LED lights.

The printer works with Fused Deposition Modelling and claims to offer the highest layer resolution i.e. 50 microns in the parts and functional prototypes that it builds. The maximum Print Size of the parts is 200mm X 200mm X 300mm. Overall the printer is great to use for beginners and intermediate in the field.
