Prusa Research Original Prusa i3 MK3S 3D Printer
This 3D printer is the successor of the award-winning Original Prusa i3 MK2 3D printer. The former extruder is rebuilt with surplus sensors. Original Prusa i3 MK3S Kit has the new magnetic MK52 heat bed that has a replaceable PEI spring steel print. With this upgrade, the company has come up with a completely redesigned assembly of the extruder i.e. taking into account complaints of its users. The old machine was trickier, especially when it came to assembling of the extruder.
Although the old machines did have a filament sensor detector, it was a little incompatible. This new sensor does not have that problem and can work smoothly. One can connect with this printer through UBS and SD Card. Original Prusa i3 MK3S Kit is compatible to use with Mac, Windows, and Linux desktops. The manufacturing company has provided its control software for changing its slicing and other settings. With that, the 3D printer also offers firmware inclusion called Marlin.
The 3D printer is based on the FDM process and offers ease of 3D printing with various features included with it. With the FDM process, the base material is first melted and then extruded. After which it is laid on the print bed layer by layer. It is only after each layer solidifies, that the next layer is deposited over the previous one until the entire object is 3D printed. This printer comes with few models which are pre-loaded on the SD card of the machine. The printing method is very simple and all the models are easy to 3D print with low support requirements and less complexity. Original Prusa i3 MK3S Kit is able to produce great results with simple 3D printing models at a price that is comparatively inexpensive.
