Based on powder bed technology, EOSINT M280 uses a single CW ytterbium-fiber laser source for fusing objects. The maximum scanning speed of the printer is 7000 millimeters per second. An optional stand-alone automatic powder-sieving station can be added to M280 that lets you minimize manual operation. In addition to the powder-sieving station, the printer comes with a Laser Power Monitoring that makes it possible to control all aspects of printing during the building process.
An Integrated Process Chain Management module permits you to increase productivity, produce higher quality parts, and make the complete system more user-friendly. The maximum build volume offered by the printer is 250 mm * 250 mm * 250 mm. The printer manages to get a 100 to 500 microns layer resolution range in parts and functional prototypes produced on it.
Any material from light metals, to stainless steel and tooling, also superalloys can be 3D printed using EOSINT M280. Production of parts with standardized profiles is possible on the printer. M280 ensures maximum reliability by subjecting to intensive process development and high-quality assurance. The printer is ideal for economical batch-size optimized manufacturing of parts at all the stages of the various product life-cycles and this makes it more suitable for industrial environments.
