Made from serial production and prototyping, Digital Metal Dm P 2500 has a robust machine design. It lets you print without support structures and benefits you by minimizing your post-processing need. Your overall productivity is increased because the printer offers close to 100 percent powder utilization, and the remaining powder is recycled.
On Digital Metal DM P 2500 you get an average surface quality of Ra6 micrometers directly after completion. The time spent post-processing is in the range of 15 to 25 minutes. Because the printer operates at room temperature you need not heat it up or cool it down after one job completion. The scaled build volume offered by P 2500 is 170 mm * 150 mm * 55 mm. It allows you to print with rare materials such as two different types of Stainless Steel, Titanium and DM 625, and DM 247.
Powered by Digital metal technology, DM P 2500 prints parts, and functional prototypes on the basis of high-precision binder jetting on the metal powder bed. No protective atmosphere needs to eliminate the use of costly inert gas. You can print with less than 1 mm distance between components which enables multiple level printing in a single print box.
