Based on Fused Filament Fabrication 3D printing technology, Felix Tec 4 can print parts and functional prototypes of build volume 250 mm * 250 mm * 250 mm. Printed parts can have low quality layer resolution of 250 microns, normal quality resolution of 200 microns, high-quality resolution of 150 microns, very high-quality resolution of 100 microns, or the extreme quality resolution of 50 microns.
Felix Tec 4 features a heated build platform with a flexible build plate that can reach a maximum temperature of 90 degrees Celsius. The leveling of this build plate is semi-automatic and uses induction sensors. The printer is host to two full metal print heads including Teflon tubes. Its build speed with 0.35 mm nozzle diameter is 15 cubic millimeters per second.
The print head travel speed of Felix Tec 4 is up to 200 millimeters per second. It consists of directly geared extruders. The printer is able to provide an XY resolution of 13 microns and a Z-axis resolution of 4 microns. The nozzle of the printer can withstand temperatures up to 275 degrees Celsius. An open filament system of the printer makes printing with PLA, PETG, ABS, PVA, and Flex possible provided the filament has a 1.75 mm diameter.
